Daou is a name that comes with a rich and illustrious history, with the family’s multiple generations of jewellers taking their brand from strength to strength.
From the modest beginnings in their first bijou store in Beirut in 1930, to adorning and embellishing the likes of Elizabeth II, Brigitte Bardot, and Grace Kelly, a heritage of Daou jewellers have made their name a mainstay in elegant, timeless style. Now, under the direction of third-generation jeweller and designer Dalia Daou, the brand has been reborn.
Taking inspiration from the translation of her last name, Daou, meaning light, she has conceived designs that take advantage of the play of light in faceted jewels. With her fresh new designs sweeping the pages of Vogue and Grazia, and Dalia herself receiving prestigious accolades from the UK Jewellery Awards and the British Fashion Council, Daou jewellery is a wearable touch of couture, grace, and history.
